Arc flash dangers such as shock, electrocution, and arc blast are serious hazards. Hazard awareness training and qualification can mitigate the risk of serious bodily injury and loss. The NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace has be developed to protect the worker and ensure compliance with OSHA’s General Duty Clause – to provide a safe and healthful work environment. Participants will learn the specifics of the NFPA 70 E Standard and how to apply its rules to everyday electrical related tasks and procedures. Case studies, PowerPoint’s and video will be used to explain and illustrate the requirements.

- Lock Out/Tag Out
- Electrical Hazards and Accident Prevention Program
- Flash Protection Boundary and Limits Approach
