This course is designed
for construction foreman and supervisors whose projects place them near overhead
and underground power lines. Attendees will learn how to manage high-risk equipment
and activities involved in power line contacts, with an emphasis on pre-job
planning, site preparation, and worker training programs. OSHA requirements,
protective measures and equipment, emergency procedures, and other topics will
be presented. Upon completion of the class, attendees will receive a student
booklet and a certificate of completion.
