Managing Power Line Hazards (4 Hours)

This course is designed for construction foreman and supervisors whose projects place them near overhead and underground power lines. Attendees will learn how to manage high-risk equipment and activities involved in power line contacts, with an emphasis on pre-job planning, site preparation, and worker training programs. OSHA requirements, protective measures and equipment, emergency procedures, and other topics will be presented. Upon completion of the class, attendees will receive a student booklet and a certificate of completion.
