This presentation covers all aspects of planning nec-essary – from the macro to the micro – for a safety-conscious organization. Corporations need to initially address safety at the macro level and make sure strategic plans for the company are connected with the corporate safety and risk management plans. Then we examine safety planning from the pre-bid/acquisition phase, considering subcontractor selection and budgeting for safety. Once a project is secured, safety planning is needed to sync with scheduling and site planning needs as well as to identify special tools and equipment that may be needed to do the job safely. Finally, we look at the micro-end of planning - the job hazard analyses, daily task analyses and other task specific safety planning needs.
