Safety has always been measured the same since it became a “science” of sorts. Tremendous progress has been made relative to your view of it all. Yet, with all we’ve learned about safety, the technol-ogy, the training, each year the same exact accidents occur. In recent years, “Zero Injury” or “Injury Free” workplace terms have been used. Is that practical? Are they just “Good” goals to shoot for? This presen-tation is designed to provide discussion and some examples of “the way you measure safety” provides those results, good or bad.
