Session Title: NFPA 70E - What it Means to You
Date: Tuesday,
February 13, 2007
Time(s): 9:00am - 10:15am
Location: Donald E. Stephans Convention Center
Code(s): 7A
This session will focus on the contractors’ requirements for ensuring an electrically safe work place. Through the deployment of pre-task hazard analysis and lock-out/tag-out programs, contractors can comply with these new electrical safety work practices. Only when it is proven that the system can not be de-energized and/or that it is infeasible to de-energize the system can a contractor work live, however, it will be the contractors burden to prove any infeasibility. What does a contractors’ NFPA 70E program look like and what should be included. Take this session to find out.
