This subject matter discusses best field safety management prac-tices and reasonable diligence for onsite protection of the general public when there is risk of exposure arising from tasks associated with con-struction in the vicinity of pedestrian pathways. This presentation with issues of public hazard control plans, emergency response planning, entrant/site security and the various liability risk exposures that can develop if reasonable diligence is not preformed by project construction management or the designated safety representative. Discussion will focus on residential, hospital renovation, civil roadways, light railways, high risk urban areas, educational institutions, commercial retail con-struction and recreational theme park construction.
